Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities & Skills Required 

  • Minimum five years Warehouse supervisory experience
  • Have a thorough knowledge of standard shipping practices and Local and Federal Dept of Transportation Regulations
  • Forklift certified or ability to be certified
  • Strong ethics, values and the ability to influence and impact others’ decision making
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to
    effectively present information to management, fellow employees and vendors
  • Ability to train other warehouse personnel
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arm. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems is a plus
  • Supervise the activities of and work side-by-side with workers engaged in receiving, warehousing, and shipping products and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Learn ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning- Transaction-based computer) system and understand all Inventory Related features 
  • Monitor inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with ERP system.
  • Maintains physical condition and layout of warehouse;  inspecting equipment and facilities and advising management of necessary repairs or replacements
  • Maintains warehouse staff by interviewing, orienting, and training new employees; monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, disciplining, and terminating employees when necessary.
  • Coordinate flow of product to varying work centers, (Repairs, on-site and off-site Fabrication)
  • Become a contributing member of a Quality Committee and maintain an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and company goals

Purchasing / Inventory Management

Responsibilities & Skills Required 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain from an accredited school
  • Practical Experience in Wholesale Distribution
  • Fluid Power knowledge is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. Ability to
    effectively present information to management, fellow employees and vendors
  • Minimum five years in procurement and supply chain experience
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices, contracting methods and strategies
  • Knowledge of logistics and warehouse distribution practices
  • Strong ethics, values and the ability to influence and impact others’ decision making
  • Ability to train other procurement personnel
  • Supervise Product Managers/Buyers
  • Have purchasing responsibility for specific products
  • Manage Special Stocking Programs for Salesmen and Specific Customers
  • Must be able to learn ERP system and  utilize all Materials Management Related features
  • Negotiate with Vendors
  • Administer Vendor Issues
    • Maintain List Price Files in ERP system
    • Returns
    • Vendor problems
    • Cancellations from Fabrication orders
  • Manage the Physical Inventory Process w/ Warehouse Manager
  • Issue corresponding purchase orders and keep inventory levels required for key OEM customers
  • Review stock position (finished goods) and expedite materials as needed based on established minimum/maximum levels
  • Manage order confirmations, expedites, cancellations, push outs and ramp up or down activities
  • Provide order confirmations through the company order management system
  • Provide information regarding customer order status, product availability and lead times
  • Resolve accounts payable issues
  • Manage supplier Return Material Authorization processing
  • Maintain the part item master
  • Take corrective actions on excess or obsolete material
  • Become a contributing member of a Quality Committee and maintain an atmosphere of continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and company goals

Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities & Skills Required 

Fluid Power Sales Position including Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Lubrication, Fluid Conveyance and Motion Control products.

  • Complete Sales Management of customers in an assigned territory
  • Technical Application of Fluid Power Products
  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be Fluid Power Certified as sanctioned by the Fluid Power Society (or willing and able to achieve certification while employed).
  • College graduate (this requirement is negotiable, field experience is substitutable).
  • Intense Product knowledge including application capability.
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic circuit design.
  • Knowledge of Fluid Power symbology, able to draw schematics utilizing CAD software.
  • Capable of operating Microsoft products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have own vehicle.
  • Must have strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Entrepreneurial skills required, must be capable of completely managing your own accounts throughout the complete business process.

Fluid Power Field Service Specialist

Field Service Specialist must exhibit the knowledge and skills necessary to diagnose, solve, and repair problems associated with fluid power systems including PLC based controls. 

  • Travel is required.

  • Design, build, and fabricating experience a plus
